1. Riverside – With a violent crime rate of 17.6 per 1,000 residents, Riverside is the most dangerous neighborhood in Indianapolis. The neighborhood is located just west of downtown and is home to a high concentration of poverty.

2. Near Eastside – The Near Eastside neighborhood has a violent crime rate of 16.4 per 1,000 residents. The neighborhood is located just east of downtown and is also home to a high concentration of poverty.

3. Mars Hill – Mars Hill has a violent crime rate of 15.5 per 1,000 residents. The neighborhood is located on the city’s north side and is known for its high crime rate and poverty levels.

4. North Indianapolis – North Indianapolis has a violent crime rate of 14.4 per 1,000 residents. The neighborhood is located just north of downtown and is home to a high concentration of poverty.

5. Eastside – Eastside has a violent crime rate of 13.6 per 1,000 residents. The neighborhood is located just east of downtown and is known for its high crime rate and poverty levels.

These five neighborhoods make up just a small portion of the city of Indianapolis. But they represent the areas of the city where crime is most prevalent.
